Chelsea Theatre is a newly-refurbished, contemporary performance space and community hub which combines artistic excellence and community participation. As a performance space, we are dedicated to commissioning, producing and presenting the freshest and most innovative artists, both nationally and internationally. We’re proud to have hosted some of the biggest names in contemporary performance from artists including Ron Athey, Franko B, Bobby Baker, Gob Squad, Lone Twin, Goat Island and Annie Sprinkle. Chelsea Theatre is fully accessible and carers go free to any performance at Chelsea Theatre. Additionally we have a variety of free and concessional rates for World’s End Estate residents.

Award-winning actor and comedian Alaa Shehada previews his brand-new show, The Bridge, at Chelsea Theatre.

Following the success of his Scotsman Fringe First-winning 2025 show, The Horse of Jenin, Alaa returns with his high-energy mix of storytelling, stand-up and physical comedy to tell the extraordinary story of his journey from the West Bank of Palestine to Jordan.

In Kensington and Chelsea, circulatory diseases account for around 20 per cent of the difference in life expectancy between the most and least deprived areas.

Cardiovascular disease, including heart disease and stroke, is one of the leading causes of illness and early death in the UK.

We are working with partners and communities to reduce health inequalities and improve wellbeing. This includes encouraging access to free NHS Health Checks, smoking cessation support, and weight management programmes.
