✍️ Creative writing can change more than a story — it can change a conversation.

We're so excited to welcome Andy Pring to RIME Festival for his workshop: Creative Writing for Social Change!

Andy's spent 20+ years building bridges between communities — from co-founding his university's first Christian-Muslim dialogue group, to eight years in counter-radicalisation work in London with the Somali community, to facilitating global dialogue with Soliya.

In 2024 he brought it all together: Creative Writing for Social Change, using storytelling to open up honest conversations about Islamophobia, patriarchy, climate change and democracy.

Now he's bringing that to RIME. 🙌

🎬 Meet the sisters behind RIME Festival 🎶

Some business partnerships start in a boardroom. Ours started in childhood, or semi childhood. 😄

We're Melissa and Rita Hurry — sisters, business partners, and the Directors of RIME Festival.

Melissa's a writer, director and producer who's sat on screening and jury panels for real film festivals.
Rita has spent 20+ years mentoring actors, musicians and creatives — and helping them protect their health and wellbeing while they do the work that scares them.

Two different lenses. One shared mission: build a space where creatives don't have to burn out to succeed.
