Yesterday for Frida Khalo's exhibition I met so many interesting individuals. This Sir, gave me so much joy. Listening to him was jojous and fresh. Sketching him was therapeutic. As you can guess. I hope!

The Spanish portrait painter will be setting her studio at our restaurant in Rathbone Place and delivering her Drawing Master Class in June. Come to learn to draw of come to be drawn! In Chocolate and in Graphite. Come and draw with Chocolate. You will lick it if you don't like it! Nine of ten people love chocolate and we can accomodate 10 people in one session with Mercedes! All material provided. Learning to draw is guaranteed and you will be powered by the best Cocoa. She will be the Artist in Residency on the 18th/ 19th and 20th of June from 10.00 to 17.00.

Muy contenta en cómo me quedó el retrato del bebé Ricardo. Hace tiempo que quería probar a hacer retratos donde primara el dibujo sin que se perdiera la prestancia y la presencia de la pintura al óleo. Que tuvieran mi calidez y mi guasa. Mi buen gusto y mi buen saber frente al lienzo. Y que que se resolvieran en un día para poder ofertarlo a mi clientela a un precio competitivo en el mercado del arte. Y que tuvieran abuela. Feliz día de la madre a todas. Yo se lo que me digo. Hasta que no haga varios no los subiré a la web.
