Alev Lenz Studio Recording studio / writing space / meeting point / Conversation Café / Heal Here In the meantime, I thought this text simply shows the spirit of the space.

A manifesto will follow soon, but I found a little info I wrote up earlier this year for an application for a project that didn't work for me as a musician parent. xx Alev

'I would greatly benefit from a space where I can have a few moments or hours to practice and possibly record new ideas, while knowing my son is close by and I can see him whenever I wish to. I want to take care of my son myself as much as I can but I also love doing my art. Childcare offers don’t really work with combining my art with my motherhood but I know with the help of other artists it is absolutely possible to be productive and live the kind of motherhood I envision for myself and achieve the kind of care I want for my son. Creative and inclusive."
