Contours – Baby Hit And Run
(Tamla Motown Records)
1974

“Baby Hit and Run” is a high-energy 1964/1965-recorded Motown track by American soul group The Contours that became a massive smash on the British Northern Soul scene. Although recorded during the mid-1960s at Hitsville U.S.A., the song remained unissued in the US until it was famously unleashed in the UK as a 7-inch single on Tamla Motown 1974.
