Hi everyone! Sorry for the radio silence, unfortunately we have to break it with some bad news. New River studios is no longer able to host Low Stakes festival, we have been working really hard to find a new venue but sadly our alternative was given an absurdly short eviction notice this week. Without the generous assistance of New River it was always going to be a struggle and now with the fall through of the second venue we have decided not to host the festival this year. This weekend was the only date the team could do for a while as Edythe is moving to New York until November. Our plan is to make a flashy comeback sometime after that, we wish it could be sooner! But please keep your ears peeled for smaller events which Jack and Malik will be running at VFD and Edythe will host in New York. Thank you to everyone who sent in an application, there were so many great ideas and we’re sorry we can’t help you manifest them this time around. Stay in touch, fingers crossed luck will be on our side next time. x

Stop the presses, It's happening again! June 1st & 2nd A Low Stakes Festival is back at New River Studios!

We're going to be packing those two days with as much art as the boundaries of space/time permit and from today the OPEN CALL is live on our beau new website where you'll find all the info you need https://www.lowstakesart.com/2018/

Last year we had people showing completely new and untested work and we want more of that. Any idea, however early in development, send it our way and encourage your friends to do the same. If you showed work at the last festival apply again! We're more than happy to have returning artists.

Deadline for applications is 18th May, that's a little over three weeks, so get to work! We can't wait to read them all
