We performed in Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-upon-Avon – just steps from Shakespeare’s grave – commemorating the 400th anniversary of his death.
Our production reimagined the play in a First World War military hospital, where recovering soldiers staged Shakespeare’s epic history. Past and present blurred as the action moved between 1415 and 1915, bringing a new resonance to the journey from England to Agincourt.
It marked the culmination of our first cathedral tour, taking the production to some of the UK’s most remarkable sacred spaces. A deeply special moment: sharing that story, in that space, with audiences who met it so openly.
Looking back, it still feels quite extraordinary.
To everyone who was part of it – on stage, behind the scenes, and in the audience – thank you.
