Penificent Tackling social issues, one page at a time 📚 We have a mission. Out mission is to powerful tool used to inject positivity into the lives of young people.

We will first produce two comic book series named “The Peace of War” and “The Peace of War: A dream to live. We parallel real situations in the fantasy worlds we create. Each comic explores the morality around relevant modern scenarios and ends with a series of open-ended questions to be investigated by the individual reader or can be used in an educational setting and social setting

Creativity has power. 🎨🧠

Penificent recently collaborated with the legendary Southbank Centre as part of the Youth In Colour programme — delivering a full-day creative workshop centred around storytelling, identity, wellbeing, and self-expression.

The day was filled with creativity, energy, powerful conversations, and young voices being heard.

Knife crime awareness has always been bigger than just a comic for us.

Back in 2019, we released Knifeboy to spark conversations around youth violence, peer pressure, trauma, and the real impact knife crime has on communities.

Since then, Penificent has continued using storytelling, workshops, and creativity to engage young people and create spaces for important conversations.

Now in 2026, we’re working on the sequel a project even closer to our hearts ❤️

This issue affects families, communities, and young people every single day, and we hope people continue coming together to help create real change.

Really proud to share that our consent and healthy relationships animation project with Leeds Beckett University has now expanded 🚀

The project budget has officially been increased to enhance the animation and fully produce all three 1-minute parts in colour alongside the full 3-minute animation 🎬

This has been an amazing opportunity to showcase Penificent’s animation and storytelling skills while working on such an important topic for young people.

Big thank you to University for believing in the vision 💙
