Tackling social issues, one page at a time 📚 We have a mission. Out mission is to powerful tool used to inject positivity into the lives of young people.

We will first produce two comic book series named “The Peace of War” and “The Peace of War: A dream to live. We parallel real situations in the fantasy worlds we create. Each comic explores the morality around relevant modern scenarios and ends with a series of open-ended questions to be investigated by the individual reader or can be used in an educational setting and social setting

From one comic in 2019… to a universe that keeps growing. 📖🔥

KnifeBoy started with a simple aim: use storytelling to open real conversations around knife crime and young people.

Since then, the journey has taken us from our first CBBC Newsround interview, into schools, workshops and communities, and now into the next chapter of the KnifeBoy universe in 2026.

The artwork has evolved. The stories have grown. But the purpose remains the same: reach more young people and create conversations that could make a difference.

Sometimes you have to look back to realise how far you’ve come.

Anthony and Steven’s friendship began during their college days, long before they became co-founders of Penificent.

Through challenges, disagreements and achievements, they have continued to support, challenge and push each other forward.

Some friends become family. Some become brothers. 💙

Her decisions, relationships and growing rivalry become central to one of the story’s most important turning points.

She isn’t simply caught in the conflict anymore. This time, she helps shape what happens next.

We’re excited to be exhibiting at Comic Con this year! 🎭✨

Our artist had fun reimagining Grace and Shado as cosplay concepts. Seeing someone dress as one of our characters would feel surreal.

Cosplay is such a powerful form of creativity, confidence and self-expression.

Sometimes the person carrying a knife was first exposed to knife violence themselves.

In Knifeboy, we see Troy during his frightening first encounter, then later after street life has changed him. It does not excuse the harm, but it raises an important question: what happened before, and who could have stepped in?

For some young people, carrying a knife can feel like protection. Sadly, it can continue the same cycle of fear and violence.

As we prepare for Knifeboy 2, we will continue exploring trauma, choices and consequences through honest, relatable storytelling.

After months of collaboration, creativity, and refinement, we're proud to announce that our 3-part consent animation series has now been officially completed in partnership with the team at Leeds Beckett University.

Cycle continues.

Sometimes a rivalry doesn't begin with violence.

Sometimes it starts with a misunderstanding.
A disagreement.
A moment of pride.
Or a decision made in seconds.

Before long, more people become involved, sides are chosen, and what once seemed small can change lives forever.

KnifeBoy 1 explored how a rivalry begins.

KnifeBoy 2 explores what happens when nobody breaks the cycle.

Through relatable storytelling, we want young people to recognise these warning signs early, think critically about the choices being made, and have conversations before situations escalate.

If you know a young person who may be caught up in conflict, don't underestimate the power of simply checking in. One conversation could make all the difference.
