We're delighted to share that our Music Director, Maria Seletskaja, has won the Outstanding Creative Contribution Award at the 2025 National Dance Awards.

Reflecting on her career journey, Maria said: "I started my career as a ballet dancer and when I moved into the world of conducting, I often felt I was going where I didn’t quite belong – so awards like this have a wonderful ability to silence imposter syndrome. What matters most is the feeling that my work matters and knowing that the musical contribution to a ballet production can truly make a difference."

It’s wonderful to see Maria‘s work recognised in this way and to celebrate this achievement with her.

The Gift is this moment- dancing, together 💖

Inspired by the phrase “Together in Otherness,” Harry Theodora Foster created this work in collaboration with our Dance for Parkinson’s Performance Company.

➡️ First debuting at our annual engagement platform Re-Play, the piece also marked the group’s first national performance at Host Platform this April.

The Gift is a celebration of the unique artists that make up this company and their power as a collective. Through trust and listening we relinquish control and find unity as a group. Gesture becomes both a tool for literal expression and a playground for imaginative transformation.
