Established 2006. The next Camden Fringe takes place 3-30 August 2026. Applications are open now. Anyone and everyone is welcome to apply.

The Camden Fringe is a performing arts festival which takes place in Camden during August. Last year’s shows included new writing, opera, musicals, stand-up, sketch comedy, dance, cabaret and poetry. The venues are all small and located close to public transport within the borough of Camden. Shows take place throughout the day and generally last one hour.

Happy World Pigeon Day!
We've been proudly using the humble pigeon to represent our festival since 2009. Which of these feathered friends do you remember?
Some call them flying vermin, but we think pigeons are beautiful, clever creatures and Camden wouldn't be the same without them.

Wow! Today marks the start of the 2 month countdown to the Camden Fringe.
Running from the 3rd to the 30th of August, 2026 marks the festival's 20th birthday and we are really looking forward to celebrating with you.
There are just shy of 400 shows confirmed and on sale now. Check our website for details of all the fabulous entertainment on offer and tickets.

There's still time for more productions to get involved in the Camden Fringe.
Although the deadline to be included in the printed brochure has passed, we would still like to clasp more shows into a big fringey embrace! You can still apply, find a slot at a venue and register to be party of the Camden family. See our website or for more information.

Excited to announce that we now have over 375 different productions confirmed as taking part in the 2026 Camden Fringe. What a great way to celebrate our 20th birthday!
A huge thank you to all the fantastic companies who are taking part for choosing us and getting all their details confirmed.

We've just hit 300 shows for 2026! 🎉🎉🎉

There is one week until our registration deadline of the 15th of May.
By the end of next Friday you need to have:
* Entered all your show information into Eventotron
* Confirmed your slot at a venue
* Finalised all the performance details and paid the Camden Fringe registration fee.
This deadline is firm if you want your show to appear in the printed brochure. If you are opting for an online only listing we'll be more liberal.
You also don't need to wait until the deadline. You could do all this today and give yourself the weekend off.

Wow! We now have over 200 different productions confirmed and on sale for the Camden Fringe.

Slowly and steadily we are building a really exciting festival.
