What's next?
Follow us at Artillery for all of our other work.
Artillery, mobilising creativity in neighbourhoods.
Look out for our publicity from Wednesday 10th May. With thanks to Paul Tucker for photographing this series of E17 Art Trail artists using a vintage Ensign Camera. These cameras were produced in Walthamstow with a factory on Fulbourn Road. Each image is produced from three exposures on film with just eight frames, and Paul describes the process as more like creating a painting, "The effect is a bit like a collage. I'm aiming to tell a story creating an extra dimension to a portrait, so it is also a portrait of their work". #e17arttrail
You can see Nancy's work at Tate Britain until 7th April as part of the exhibition - Women in Revolt! Art and Activism in the UK 1970-1990.
At least 5 artists from Waltham Forest have work in this exhibition including Nancy, Alison Lloyd, Jo Robinson, Vi Subversa, and Shanti Thomas.
