This time around we had double the capacity and double the performances!

Our sister company Excellence Theatre was founded to nurture black emerging artists to CLAIM SPACE and thanks to you, that’s exactly what they did.

We are very excited to introduce to you the wonderful Bethany Henry Gemmell, our Guest Blog Writer!

They are a London-based Northern educator and writer. In the past couple of years, they have written for the Royal Court Theatre's Listen Local project, for Wild Forest Theatre's production Turning Tables - which debuted in the 2021 ‘E17 Festival’ - and for various festivals including One Egg No Batter's 24-Hour Play challenge and the Playwriting Collective's Love and Survival production, held at Tower Theatre.

RE-MEET OUR TEAM

We’re feeling very grateful for the year we’ve had so far…

And we cannot thank everyone enough for the support!
During this phase of DMN we have:

- Called out for a Writer and received an astonishing amount of applications and through this commissioned the beautiful Robyn Grant
- Held a one week physical exploration of Dear Mother Nature with the most amazing team of women
- With the support of Ditch The Rag offered 36 students a period pack which contains period products of up to a decade!

Thank you to Arts Council England for their contribution for us to offer these opportunities to freelancers, students and our lush team 🩸🩸🩸🩸

We are so excited for our first LIVE Dear Mother Nature workshop playing with Robyn Grant’s writing & collaborating with Ditch The Rag for the students to be treated to an informative period workshop afterwards 🔥

Oh… and did we mention all students will get a FREE Ditch The Rag pack with period products lasting them up to a decade🩸🩸🩸🩸
