ABOUT OUR HEADLINER:

Hannah Copley is the author of  Speculum  (Broken Sleep Books, 2021); and  Lapwing (Pavilion Poetry, LUP,  2024). The latter, which was a Poetry Book Society Summer 2024 Recommendation, won second prize in the 2024 Laurel Prize and was nominated for the 2024 T.S. Eliot Prize. She is a poetry editor at  Stand and runs the  regular Soho Poly Poetry night.

We are thrilled to announce our next headliner is the incredible 🔥 🔥 🔥

Grab your tickets now via the link in our bio. Doors open at 6pm for a prompt 7pm start. Sign up for the open mic on the door, on the day. Names are pulled at random from a hat and open mic slots are five mins long. We’ll be on the first floor of the beautiful 💙💙💙

ABOUT OUR HEADLINER:

Rupinder Kaur Waraich (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Birmingham working across poetry, writing and performance. Her practice often explores the linguistic intersections of the body, history, sexuality through a feminine narrative and gaze. Her debut poetry collection, Rooh (2018), was published by Verve Poetry Press, followed by Tigress with Wings (February 2026) with Seren Books. Her poems and essays have appeared in a range of journals and magazines, including Wasafiri, 14 Poems, Routledge India and Poetry Wales. At the core of her practice is an ongoing exploration of the artistic self as both vessel and reclamation shaped by curiosity and dedication.
