I can’t stop thinking about what Xaden would say to Violet after everything that happened in Onyx Storm. 🥹🖤

So I decided to bring my own little version of his words to life.

This isn’t book accurate, nor is it an actual letter from the series. It’s simply how I imagine Xaden would express everything he wishes he could tell her.

The love, the guilt, the fear of losing her, and the desperate need for her to know that no matter what happens, she will always be his choice.

Because if there’s one thing I believe, it’s that Xaden would find a way to remind Violet just how much she means to him. Even from the darkness. 🖤

One of the most heartbreaking Cassian and Nesta moments from A Court of Wings and Ruin, and a scene I’ve wanted to bring to life for so long.

Cassian injured, Nesta refusing to leave him, and both of them knowing they might be running out of time, but choosing each other anyway.

And Nesta covering him at the end while Cassian pulls her closer… 😭🖤

𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦 — 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟬

On my reread of A Court of Silver Flames, this little Nesta and Cassian scene in the library really stuck with me.

It’s not one of the huge ACOSF moments that gets recreated over and over, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen this particular scene brought to life before, so here is me making what I want to see.

Nesta alone in the library, finally having a quiet moment with her cake… and then Cassian walks in and, of course, helps himself to it. 😅

It’s such a simple scene, but there’s something about it that I love.

And somehow, underneath all the irritation and sharp edges, you can already feel that little shift between them beginning.

Sometimes it’s the quieter book moments that stay with me the most. 🖤
