Deptford Life Drawing Collective host affordable untutored life drawing events in an around Deptford, South East London.

We curate sessions that offer an inclusive space where both models and artists/participants can express themselves without judgement.

This Sunday we bring you a very special life drawing session to celebrate the coming of summer. Our theme will be May Day and the Green Man and we will have beautiful folk music accompanying the session.

Just a reminder, our sessions are untutored and you need to bring your own materials :)

Please come along early and grab a drink.

On Sunday 26th April we will be welcoming back and company to play live folk music for a special May Day life drawing session welcoming the beginning of May.

Arnie will model, representing the Green Man. We will celebrate the coming of summer with drawing, merriment and much joy!

We’re spreading our wings again kicking off a season of monthly specials at helm in Deptford, come down for a fresh drawing mood in a beautiful setting with Reuben modelling and Gabriel on piano.

On Monday 27th October for the night we become Deathford Life Drawing in order to welcome all spirits to Aaja Basement for a very special evening of Halloween themed Life Drawing accompanied by live folk music.

We invite you to join us for a celebration of life and death, music, drinks and a fabulous drawing session with Emily modelling.

Life drawing of Bec by Mel from Tuesdays sesh at The Royal Albert.

It was a super nice evening, Bec is an outstanding model, everyone agrees. Afterwards we celebrated James with a few birthday drinks. The pub was milling with folk sharing drawings and discussing their experiences.

Tony took this drawing, who knows what he will do with it, if anything… it is precious being able to get feedback from other artists and exchange sketches. It’s a joy to be surrounded by our incredibly talented beautiful gang of “pirates” each week.

Come and join us, it’s £8 if you can afford it £6 if not, if you’re flat broke come and help move some tables and we’ll accommodate your needs.

Every Tuesday, 7.30-9.30pm

Bring your own art stuff, don’t bring your own drinks 🤪

The pub is ace, sweet bar staff, delicious menu… and if you get there before 7 you’ll get a pint for £4.50
