Mission commander and director gives us a sneak peak of some juicy harmonies to look out for in Bach’s cantata Ach Gott, vom Himmel sieh Darien, BW2 that we’ll be performing 🎵

Guest speaker Laura Joy Pieters, Curator of Mathematical Sciences at the Science Museum will be joining us to introduce us to astronomical instruments from the 17th and 18th Centuries.

Bach, the Universe and Everything returns on Sunday at on its mission to explore Bach’s cantatas and to understand the cosmos 🚀

Mission commander and series music director Steven Devine introduces the first Bach cantata we’ll be performing, Ach Gott, vom Himmel sieh darien (Ah God, look down from heaven), BWV 2.

Inspired by the music of JS Bach, composer and intergalactic genius, six eminent scientists, writers and broadcasters explore our place in the cosmos 🌌
