We’re excited to release the first video of our new lineup this week, and what better way to do that than with a beautiful solo from our new soprano!!

Virginia takes the lead on this recording, a setting of the poet Sara Teasdale’s reflections upon childhood and memory.

We closed out our first tour of the season with a lovely performance in Ahrensburg, where we also had the pleasure of Jack Liebeck’s company to prepare for our next concert, this Thursday at Kings Place

Teamwork, connection and joy are at the heart of the VOCES8 sound 🎶

In his recent interview, our Artistic Director, Barnaby Smith, reflects on the importance of working together, the connection between the singers, and the joy of making music.

Tonight, we bring that sound to the stage in Ostrava, Czech Republic! 🇨🇿

We’ve just signed off for the 25/26 season with our final round of tenor auditions - there’ll be more news about that soon, but this season also marks a 10th year of touring with VOCES8 for Blake Morgan Music 🎉🎉

The first American to join us back in 2016, Blake’s skill and experience with jazz repertoire, intonation and his work as an arranger and composer for the group have been invaluable over the last 10 years, leading to friendships and collaborations with Jacob Collier, Chanticleer, and most recently Ringmasters.

Away from the stage, his love of a good coffee or cocktail has led to a lot of amazing days on tour together - we might not have secured our Buffalo Wild Wings sponsorship, but we’ll keep trying over his last few months travelling with us 🍗 We’re taking some time off for the next few weeks to recharge, but we look forward to seeing you all out on the road again soon!

We’re looking back on another special week at our Milton Abbey Summer School, and in particular the launch concert for ‘Shall We Gather’

It was incredible to share the stage again with Ringmasters for the live premieres of many of the album tracks, including this Blake Morgan Music arrangement of the classic Motown track ‘I’ll Be There’

You can watch the full live concert as part of LIVE From London Summer - tickets are available at livefromlondon.org!!
