СЛАВА УКРАЇНІ! is the new name of the mix that was called UNCRTN for .rave recorded at the end of January in Kharkiv. It is now revamped for audio on soundcloud.

I wasn't sure about how Techno would be appropriate since the sickening atrocities that my friends, community and all Ukrainians have had to endure in such a full scale disgraceful, criminal and evil onslaught by a demented psychopath. Many of my friends are on the frontline in one way or another. I never thought this abhorrent and horrific tragedy would happen but it did and it does.
I was inspired and reminded of ancient rites when I saw a clip of .mara dancing with an AK on the frontline somewhere in Kyiv in full Techno swing and army dress. Dancing moves energy and the combination of dance and music creates trance. There are different dances and different trances. And with relevance to the war that is, we can recall the destroyer dances of Kali and Shiva, the war dance of the Berserker Vikings, the Hukas of the Maori and so on and so forth. Dances of empowerment. Dances of fire. Dances of Fierceness. Dances of Warriors. Dances that transcend the body and rise the serpent power up the spine and bring about that state of knowing the Spirit and the Universe and Nature and ...
And so this is what this modern shamanism does. The beat and the dance of the Techno. It creates that otherly and magic space. From the depth of my heart, spirit and soul I hope this music helps you experience a transcendence that brings you closer to the divine and empowers you on your mission here and now.

On a personal note, I not only dedicate this mix to Ukrainians and the transcendence of this darkness but specifically to Maksym, Anastasia and Serhiy who were murdered in cold blood by Russian military. The 3 friends were civilians carrying out humanitarian aid. May they rest in peace for Eternity with the Divine.
