I find the rise of handheld gaming PCs to be utterly fascinating, mostly because of how much power can now be packed into such small devices. I don’t think they are ever going to be a massive market due to their cost but I can see a small but profitable niche being formed. Plus, now that Sony are bringing their games to PC, a handheld PC might be the closest thing we will ever get to a modern handheld Playstation.

There is, however, a slightly weird caveat: no multiplayer. The new Edition is subtitled as Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed: Singleplayer and even strips out the fun co-op mode. Because a chunk of the game is missing, the last-gen edition will retail for just $30.

Game Pass has changed the landscape in terms of what it means to be a success. We used to be able to judge a game’s success purely on its sales numbers and profit, but now it’s far murkier than that. In documents made available through the ongoing attempted acquisition of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft, it was confirmed by Microsoft that Game Pass does cannibalize sales, though the exact percentage was redacted.
