A taste of the VIBES on Saturday night thanks to GRUPO MARTILLADA 🔨

Thank you to everyone who joined us! Red Door was alive with children roaming free, delicious food from and the music and heat made us feel like we were far from East Ham!

Thanks especially to local superstar Roberto Pla for bringing the band and his unique energy 🥁

A little more about our new resident 🍅🍃

You may have met him at one of our recent gigs where he has been serving up delicious home-made foccaccia, pizza, suppli and arancini!

We are lucky to have such an experienced chef right on our doorstep who serves his food with a smile.

You will see him this weekend as we are joined by Grupo Martillada so pop down, enjoy the sound, grab a cocktail and fill your tummy with delicious Italian food 🤤

We are delighted to announce we will be hosting the amazing GRUPO MARTILLADA on Saturday the 4th of July 🔨

A compact vibes-led quintet with a BIG sound! Combining edgy Nu Yorican salsa with the classics of Latin Jazz, it’s the sound of percussive melodic energy!

The band has come together from across the musical spectrum, their own World Cup team made up of salsa, pop, soul and jazz.

Let GRUPO MARTILLADA swirl its magic brew of salsa, Latin jazz, Afro-Cuban sounds and beyond!

Early-bird tickets are £10, just drop us a message 🕊️

Hello everyone!

We have a studio available currently, ready to take on immediately. It is part of a larger studio shared with three others but due to the flow of the building it’s very possible to work alone whenever needed :)

There are other parts of the building which are used communally like the main space which is available to work in whenever it is not being used for an event as well as the conservatory and kitchen.

We are a small community of artists within the building, some of whom have been here for over 10 years so it’s a lovely bunch to be a part of :)

Rent is £200 per month including all bills, if you’re interested please drop us a message and we can arrange a viewing!

Beautiful night last night thanks to ❤️

Was really taken by these guys watching them perform at the Whitechapel Gallery a few months back, and wondered if we could convince them to come and play at Red Door! Thankfully bumped into them on the street after their gig and everything aligned 🌟

We thank everyone who joined us last night, we couldn’t do this without you and the energy shared in the room is truly something special!

Was so busy enjoying the night I could only record the last song of the evening but if you want to see more don’t worry they will be back…
