Slightly late to the party, after a minor mental burnout a long break from social media, that was very much needed, here is a thank you.
Thanks to all of you for believing in the little old me, who's never written or done anything even close to this scale, for pushing me when I felt stuck and picking me up when I felt down.
The amount of emotional and financial support has been truly overwhelming and I must admit I couldn't achieve any of this alone.
From Drayton, to Camden, to Edinburgh, Etcetera, Clapham and Pen theatre, we have come to an end, and oh what a ride it was!
Is Runway going to be the next hit on Netflix?
No.
Did I get a contract to a prestigious London venue?
No.
You can't always get what you want.
But if you try sometimes, well, you might find you get what you need.
And I got so much. I learned, I grew, as an actor and a person, I met so many amazing human beings who are insane like me for doing what we do and I got to do what I love, the thing that brings me most joy.
I truly hope Runaway will be back next year, or one day, but for now I'm closing this book, leaving the bookmark in, so when I feel ready I can pick up where I left it.
I need some time away (quite literally), but I'm sure within a couple of months I'll be itching to come back 🙂
