Bigfoot AfroStar of the week is a multi talented Nigerian 🇳🇬 musician, Song writer and Dancer, Niniola Apata.

She was born on December 15, 1986, in Lagos State, Nigeria, Niniola is the elder sister of Teni. She attended Apata Memorial High School and earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Lagos.

Niniola gained fame as the third runner-up in the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa. She released her debut single “Ibadi” in 2014, which topped national music charts. Her 2017 hit “Maradona,” produced by Sarz, spent 13 weeks on South Africa’s Metro FM chart and earned her nominations at the 2018 BET Awards and SAMAs.

“Maradona” was later remixed by DJ Snake and sampled in Beyoncé’s “Find Your Way Back.” Niniola received Grammy nomination certificates for her contributions to The Lion King: The Gift and was inducted into the Grammy Recording Academy Class of 2021.

Her single “Maradona” was certified gold in South Africa in 2021 and platinum in 2023.

Joseph Olaitan Adenuga Jr. , Skepta a Nigerian British 🇳🇬🇬🇧musician who seamlessly blends grime, rap, and production skills.

Making waves in the UK scene, Skepta co-founded Boy Better Know with his brother Jme. His fierce lyrical clashes, like the one with Devilman, cemented his place in grime history.

Skepta’s musical journey boasts studio albums like “Greatest Hits” 2007 and the critically acclaimed “Konnichiwa” 2016 which brought him the prestigious Mercury Prize. Tracks like “That’s Not Me” and “Shutdown” became global hits.

Bigfoot AfroStar of the week is a multi talented Nigerian 🇳🇬 musician, Song writer ,Producer Fuayefika Maxwell, also known as ‘Wizard Chan”

Born in Portharcourt on 26th June and his musical journey began in childhood, where his passion for music was evident through his participation in the choir and early songwriting endeavors.

After completing secondary education, Maxwell recorded his first unofficial song in December 2011, marking the beginning of his creative pursuits. Initially, he gained traction by sharing covers of popular songs on social media platforms before officially launching his music career in 2020 with his debut single, ‘Halo Halo’.

Despite releasing subsequent singles like ‘Truth’ in October 2020, his breakthrough came in December 2022 with the release of ‘Earth Song’, propelling him to stardom.

The success of ‘Earth Song’ led to Maxwell’s recognition in the music industry, earning him prestigious awards at The Headies and the Galaxy Music Awards in 2023.
