First wedding portrait complete 💒 (aside from a few tweakments from the client)

Hugely underestimated how long this would take! There were so many elements I’d never painted before- marble, people, fabric, stained glass, candles/light, mosaic, a reflective gold ceiling….

It was a huge challenge and a lot of sleepless nights were had! But I’m pleased with the result and have learnt a great deal 🫶

Will post again once the adjustments have been made 🥰

In November I had the pinch-me moment of signing with an agency who approached me about representing my work. In a true balance of life, a week later we said goodnight to my favourite person in the world and my rock, my beautiful Nana ♥️

I feel like it was her parting gift and a guide of where to head going forwards. For my first collection with them I decided to paint what I love, wildlife, but surrounded by an expansive emptiness.

I’ve called it ‘Light in the dark.’ I hope it would have made my favourite person proud ☘️

Life has been hectic! Completely forgot I’d recorded bits of this mural commission from a few weeks ago 🎨 Client has a concept in mind and I’m so glad I was able to bring it to life for her!
Thank you for trusting me, even through the ugly work in progress stages - you had more faith in me than me 😂🫶
