There’s always something exhilarating about recording live drums.

It’s a technical and artistic challenge: bringing a song to life, making it breathe, ebb and flow, and giving it that extra something special that plugins simply can’t replicate.

And there’s something uniquely rewarding about collaboration, too. Creating music together often leads to results that are greater than the sum of their parts.

Last night at Bloom Studios, we recorded drums for Lior David’s upcoming single, Slow Burn, with the wonderful Mor on drums.

The results will be here soon.

Fantastic work, everyone.

If you’d like it to feel a bit more “studio brand” and less personal, I can  make it punchier and more promotional.

Live drums never go out of style or fashion. There’s something about real drums that instantly brings a track to life: the movement, the swing, the subtle imperfections that make a record feel finished.
Had the pleasure of having Secret Cameras in the studio tracking drums for their upcoming single, and it felt like the perfect moment to capture a bit of the process. From mic placement to performance energy, it’s all about shaping a sound that actually breathes.
If your track is missing that final layer of depth and character, live drums might be exactly what it needs.
Feel free to reach out if you want to explore it.

Crafting a bass tone is never just one thing—it’s a chain of decisions, each shaping the next.
It starts with the instrument, but it doesn’t end there. The way the signal hits the amp, how it breaks up through the pedals, how the cab moves air, and where the mic sits in front of it… that’s where the character really lives.
For this sound, I leaned into a balance of clarity and grit—something that holds weight but still cuts through.
Every piece in the chain plays its part. Nothing random. Nothing accidental.
Just tone, built with intention.

Most of the artists are dealing with the same quiet stress: it’s no longer enough to make a great song — you’re expected to feed the internet too. We built Live Session Content at Blue Room because of that. Properly recorded, audio-first sessions that actually sound good, has great performance visuals plus clean vertical cutdowns you can post for weeks without hating yourself.
If that sounds like something you need right now,DM now “content” !
