I think mostly, we are all too harsh on ourselves. We are too self-critical, and that weakness is usually spotted by ‘sharks’ and taken advantage of.

In the start of my art career I remember printing off this quote and having it up on my wall next to my mirror, to remind myself to not let people “take the biscuit”.

Art is more than just a painting on a wall, it’s a story that evokes feelings. It’s a moment in time, and of course an investment.
