What a fantastic Wanstead B**r Festival 2026!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday 10 October (our 4th event) and helped make this year's festival our biggest and best yet.

With over 1,200 people attending, a completely sold-out festival, and overwhelmingly positive feedback throughout the day, it was wonderful to see both the local and wider community come together and enjoy such a fantastic atmosphere. This year we even doubled the size of our marquee, allowing more people than ever to be part of the celebration.

Most importantly, none of this would be possible without our incredible committee team. The festival is run entirely by volunteers, who generously give up their time and energy throughout the year to make the event happen.

Every pint poured, every ticket sold, and every hour volunteered helps raise vital funds for local charities and community causes.

Thank you once again to everyone who attended, supported, sponsored, volunteered, and helped spread the word – it is much appreciated.

The good news? We'll be back again next year!
We can't wait to do it all over again.

The Wanstead B**r Festival is popping up all over Wanstead, thanks to Martin & Co, who have been helping us spread the word by putting the festival on their estate agent boards around the area.

You might have already spotted a few on your travels, and with just ONE WEEK TO GO, Wanstead is definitely getting ready!

Just over a week to go until Wanstead B**r Festival!

And while there’ll be plenty of b**r flowing, we haven’t forgotten the c***r drinkers. We’ve got a great selection lined up for this year’s festival, with c***rs from:

And that’s just a taste of what’ll be pouring on the day, with plenty more c***rs to discover alongside our huge b**r selection.

Meet Wanstead Heron, our very own festival b**r!

Brewed specially for Wanstead B**r Festival by Sambrook Brewery, Wanstead Heron is a 6.3% braggot, a b**r brewed using both malted barley and honey.

Never tried a braggot before? This is your chance. And even better, Wanstead Heron will be half price at The George this Monday, so you can get an early taste before the festival.

Then you can find it again at Wanstead B**r Festival on Saturday 10th October, alongside more than 50 b**rs and c***rs.

A small rebellion is brewing in Wanstead…

We’ve got two red ales joining the line-up this year: Peasants Revolt from Elephant School Brewing Co, a 4.6% New World hopped red ale, and Tomahawk from Sambrook’s Brewery, an American red ale at 4.5%.

Two very different reds, both well worth a try. Which one are you backing?
