Alison Hawkins Alison has been busy! 🪡✨

Two Ladybirds 🐞including her own version made with the leftover materials and in gold (I absolutely love it in gold!!), the Sad Hedgehog 🦔Queen Bee 🐝and Koi Fish 🎏. And apparently the Frog is next… 🐸

❤️‍🔥Sometimes we never get to see the ripple effect of the things we make with our hands and our hearts. Today, we did. Mónica Mónica shared this story with me today and I couldn’t help but smile and feel so inspired.

🙏 She gifted the Sacred Heart she stitched during our last free class in collaboration with Ecclesiastical Sewing | Church Vestment to the chaplain at her daughters’ school before he moved to a new mission.

He is an artist as well and was so touched that he made her this beautiful drawing of St Joseph as a thank you.

🙏 We rarely get to see where something made with love will end up, or whose life it might touch. Sometimes an act of generosity keeps travelling long after we’ve let it go ❤️


❤️‍🔥 A veces nunca llegamos a ver el efecto en cadena de las cosas que hacemos con nuestras manos y con el corazón. Hoy sí pudimos.

Mónica compartió esta historia conmigo hoy y no pude evitar sonreír y sentirme profundamente inspirada.

🙏 Le regaló el Sagrado Corazón que bordó durante nuestra última clase gratis en colaboración con al capellán del colegio de sus hijas, antes de que lo trasladaran a una nueva misión.

Él también es artista y quedó tan conmovido que, como agradecimiento, le hizo este precioso dibujo de San José.

🙏 Rara vez llegamos a ver hasta dónde puede llegar algo hecho con amor, o la vida que puede llegar a tocar. A veces, un acto de generosidad sigue viajando mucho después de que lo hemos entregado. ❤️

🪡 Lori Love’s beautiful Sonoran Quail family.

One of my favourite things about teaching is seeing embroiderers take what we covered in class and make it their own. Lori has done exactly that, creating this wonderful quail family while putting the techniques into practice so beautifully.

Thank you so much, Lori, for letting me share your lovely work. It is an honour to see my classes become part of someone else’s creative journey. ❤️

Una de las cosas que más disfruto de enseñar es ver cómo las bordadoras toman lo que vimos en clase y lo hacen propio. Lori hizo exactamente eso, creando esta maravillosa familia de codornices y poniendo en práctica las técnicas de una forma preciosa.

¡Muchísimas gracias, Lori, por dejarme compartir tu trabajo! Es un verdadero honor ver cómo mis clases pasan a formar parte del recorrido creativo de otras bordadoras. ❤️

☀️ Just a little update before I head off for my summer break…

I also have just 1 Goldwork Supplies Box left, and a few kits remaining for the Three Goldwork Koi Fish self-paced workshop 🎏🪡 www.clarastitching.com

My last trip to the Post Office before I go away will be Thursday 16 July, so if there’s something you’ve had your eye on, please place your order by Wednesday 15 July.

The shop will stay open while I’m away, but any orders placed after Wednesday will be posted from 10 August.
