🔥 ANOTHER ONE 🔥

We’re looking for a Senior Producer to join ITCH on a fixed-term maternity cover contract (minimum 9 months)!

This role is for someone who can lead projects from first brief to final delivery, keeping the creative sharp, the client confident and the production running properly.

Ideally, you’ll need 4 to 5 years’ experience producing video and photographic content, ideally in an agency or production company. Strong client management, production workflow knowledge and real-time problem-solving are a must.

A reminder that this is an in-person role, based in London, with some on-set work and occasional international production.

We’ll happily spend 40 minutes watching someone explain a niche topic we didn’t know we cared about.

So why are brands still acting like long-form is too much to ask?

By the end of October 2024, 73% of YouTube viewing time was spent on videos that were 30 minutes or longer.

So the appetite is there. And it’s only gotten bigger since.

But only if the content gives people a reason to stay.

Long-form gives brands more room to build trust, show personality and actually say something useful. Not just another quick hit or more noise. Content that gives people something back.

For the right brands, YouTube could be worth more attention.

Carousels are back in the chat ✨

Socialinsider’s latest benchmark has carousels slightly ahead of Reels for Instagram engagement. Only just, but enough to make the point.

The main takeaway here is simple. The best format is the one that fits the idea.
