TANGO-LIGHT PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS TWO ABSURDIST COMEDIES: ‘FINE DINING’ AND ‘BOAR INTENT’
With the premiere of these two absurdist comedies, ‘Fine Dining’ and ‘Boar Intent’, Christine Fox returns to the Canal Café Theatre where she debuted (as Christine Richey) with her black comedy, ‘The Divided Soul’. The genesis of these latest short comedies, lies in Christine’s desire for some light relief during these stressful times.
In ‘Fine Dining’ we meet an eccentric maitre d’ whose best customers ‘keep very still… other than when eating, so as not to spoil the décor’….and there’s a spot of tango thrown in!
‘Boar Intent’ prepares the audience for a weekend camping trip to the country, with Professor Bernie Summers warning against the perils of night camping, and extolling the importance of marking up your tent in readiness for ‘deterrent action’.
