Philippa Gedge Photography I am a portrait and wedding photographer and specialise in putting people at ease.

Philippa's passion for working with people and desire to take fabulous photographs complement her natural ability to capture spontaneous moments as they happen and always get the best out of her subjects. Her approach to your shoot will be personal and enjoyable without getting under your feet. Philippa likes to capture a real feel for what is going on, record things as they happen. Whilst making

everyone feel comfortable and confident with the use of some very casual posing and using the most flattering of natural light where possible, you will feel at ease and calm throughout, safe in the knowledge that your best side is always taken care of. Small and intimate weddings are some of my absolute favourites. I only take on a handful of weddings during the summer months, which means I can really savour every moment.

This beautiful wedding took place in Wi******er on a gloriously hot day in July. And with a bride and groom this gorgeous, my job was pretty easy — point, shoot and capture the magic. They honestly looked incredible in every frame. ❤️

✨ Wedding photography is where it all I started for me; armed with my film camera back in 2005 and with very little experience I learnt fast, and I learnt on-the-job. I still capture around ten weddings a year but I’m picky!

My favourite weddings are relaxed, full of personality, and with couples who simply want to enjoy their day. When I’m given the freedom to be creative, I can capture those genuine moments that make the story unique.

📸 I’m selective about the events I photograph, so when I do choose one, it’s usually because it’s something special. This one definitely is — photographing for the Premier League at Soho Farmhouse and capturing everything from the big moments to the little details.
