Want to try something new this year? Join our choir!

We are a non-auditioning, fun and friendly choir for LGBTQ+ women, trans and non-binary people in London, with taster sessions on Thursday 8th and 15th of January

Q: Do I need to be able to read sheet music?
A: We do use sheet music but there is no need to be able to read music, many members learn by ear and just use the sheet music to read the lyrics.

Q: What kind of music do you sing?
A: We sing three-part acapella pop and folk songs with our fabulous choir director, Rosie!
Last term we sang everything from Backstreet Boys to a sea shanty - it’s a lot of fun! We are always open to suggestions for new songs to sing, too.
We provide sheet music and vocal track recordings to all songs, if you need to practice and learn outside of rehearsal time.

Q: How big is the choir?
A: We’re a small group of usually around 10-15 people, but hoping to grow!

Q: I am not a confident singer, should I join?
A: It’s a very low pressure, supportive environment, no auditions, and no need to sing by yourself. We are all here to have fun and enjoy singing in a group. Come along and try it out!

Q: Is there a social element?
A: We usually go to a local pub after rehearsal to hang out, and often plan a social once a term.
We’d love to do more social things too, any suggestions?

Q: Do you perform?
A: We aim to do a performance at the end of each term. We’ve done gigs at Battersea Arts Centre, Two Brewers in Clapham, and the LGBTQ+ Centre. But we have big plans for performances in 2026, hopefully at some Pride events!
Let us know if you know anyone who is looking for an LGBTQ+ choir to perform.
