JDG East London Theatre is proud to present Master Jonjon's new play: "Game Fillet Game: A Dive into Influencing Careers… Uninvented Jobs… Surprise Missions…". And we want you to be part of it.

Opening to all skill levels, whether you have trodden the boards for decades or are just stepping onto a stage, JDG East London Theatre is calling for passionate, courageous performers to join us. From early July, JDG is serving free masterclass workshops and rehearsals as a creative space to forge connections with fellow drama enthusiasts, develop your dramatic and technical craft, and discover entirely new corners of the theatrical world.

Your commitment need not consume your every waking hour. Depending on your role, you will be required to attend only the sessions that pertain to you, though you are always warmly welcomed to sit in on other departments and broaden your artistic horizons.

Cast we seek:
1. Nikawr, male, aged 20s-40s. Pen-pusher turned game show celeb.

2. Quailsea, female, aged 20s-40s. Heiress to a big company, eager to show she has what it takes.

3. AD, male, aged 20s-40s. Always helping others.

4. Showkeeper, aged 20s-60s. MC for a game show.

(A number of characters of all ages and gender are also available.)

JDG is a voluntary community theatre proudly rooted in the heart of East London.

Nikawr knows how to win. Top of his class, they call him The Victor.

Now, he is the breakout star of Fillet Game, the viral sensation captivating audiences across the Martian city.

Until a lady from his past steps into the game.

One "accident" later, Nikawr finds himself suspended between two planets, working for a new job (?) created overnight. The world he glittered in suddenly plays by entirely different rules.

What does it truly mean to win? How much is one prepared to sacrifice for it?

The game. Has changed.

From Martian electric broadcast studios to the uncharted wilds of yet other planets, Master Jonjon's "Game Fillet Game: A Dive into Influencing Careers… Uninvented Jobs… Surprise Missions…" is a high-stakes journey through ambition, loyalty and friendship.

In our last production, "Cashier Incident: In Search of a World of Happy Transactions: An Anthology of Three Perspectives" left us haunted by the quiet, creeping power of history and memory.

This year JDG proudly presents "Game Fillet Game: A Dive into Influencing Careers… Uninvented Jobs… Surprise Missions…", the newest play from Master Jonjon. Now we're back to Mars, where loyalties are tested and the bonds of friendship face their ultimate challenges.
