To be a creative is to live a life of polarity.

What really excites us though is delving into new and fresh ways to express the things in our heads. This collaborative work, Sensual Beauty, started life as a studio photograph that was shot earlier this year. It has been recreated and reimagined by Em, a traditional artist, who incidentally is also the model.

This figurative fine art has gone through a number of iterations and expressions. It has it's own life and will be released on it journey soon.
It would look great on anybodies wall.

If Kiss Were Stars ...

I would give you the sky.

A series of 3 wall arts that can be viewed together as a single collection or individually one at a time.

In creating If Kisses Were Stars the human form becomes a desert landscape dwarfed by the vastness of the night sky. Galaxies take over and individual stars shine ethereal magic on the contours of the body.

The body is a universe all of it's own. Human bodies are created from lines and curves much like landscapes. The additional element of the pegs across the outline adds structure and focus. It is up to you to decide what it is they are adding. They could be people people marching, a row of camels marching across dunes, towers in the distance or anything you desire.

The interpretation is in your hands

It's been a journey ... and we are just 3 weeks to one of the major stops to wherever may be the destination.

7th Sept - 10th Sept London Erotic Art Exhibition .instagram.com/eroticartexhibition

Today the wait was over. The 9 art works entered into the exhibition, and a fee others finally arrived. I say finally, they were only ordered less than a week ago.

3 hours later they had all been unwrapped, quality checked, photographed and filmed, and then wrapped up until we take them to hang.

These are without a doubt, the some of the best works we've produced. But these are only the start of what this partnership can achieve.

It's hard to know when, or if, an art work is ever truly finished.

These mixed media artworks Heaven and Hell have been through even more 'finishing' touches this week.

From being digitised and having elements added to them, the urge to bring them to life struck. Flashes, embers, flames have been added.

Now for the time being at least they can be left, to breathe and see what follows.

To capture an image is to show respect.
It is a moment, given them, to see into for ever more.
Within it individuality, personality and character shines bright.

Shameless Beauty Heaven and Hell are a pair of mixed media art pieces on display, and on sale at the London Erotic Art exhibition.

These are created as photographs and further imagined by with traditional art methods. A process driven mixed media art piece.

So ....you can't tell but this is the order being finalised and sent for Erotic Art London

9 artworks that will grace the walls with many other artists from all over the world.

It's scary to press send. All of the work being finalised and set in stone.

I'd love your thoughts on this mixed media piece.

No apologies for having to sanitise this for Faceb00k but there you go.

This started life as a photograph. A trip into the studio with no real other plan but to see what we could capture. Sometimes the best ideas happen in the moment.

That original photo was edited in a high contrast photograph. That in itself was a great image.

Now me and Em will spend most of a week apart but most of the week chatting on Zoom. We bather away about anything, plan our way to fame and so on.

Every now and again we might even do some work 😀

Often we review images, work out the good, the bad and the ugly, together.

We stopped on these and for whatever reason, this one stood out. Now Em, as well as being an Artner and a model, knows how to draw, paint and all of the things I don't do so well.

We discussed options, ideas and thiughts. She took this image and flew. The backgrounds, the colour tones the flames, all with guidance from her finger tips.

The final stage, the one you don't see here, was completed today where having scanned it back into a computer I tweaked tones and colours and added a set of digital flames. If you want to see that version it will be hanging on the walls of the London Erotic Art Exhibition 7th Sept - 11th Sept Bargehouse, London.

So there you have it ... to reach a final art work it takes

1. A trip to the studio and a daybof photography and modelling.
2. A review, selection and edit of the images
3. Rough prototype sketches of what may happen to that photograph.
4. A hand render of that image using traditional wet art methods
5. A high detailed scan of that drawn image to the computer
6. Digital flourishes and final touches
7. Printing

That is many hours of work ...

We make art ... differently so you can enjoy it at your own pace.

If you know me then you know I do things differently. It’s time to formally announce Goose and Gander Art. An artistic, business partnership creating process mixed media art across all genres.

Around 10 years ago I went all in as a full time photographer capturing once in a lifetime events, corporate images and headshots, in fact I still do. The desire to maintain my creative hobby led to bo***ir experience days and over 100 shoots later it's no lie to say that many women have had their beliefs changed about who they are. I'm so proud of this work I had a private gallery in Brick Lane a few years ago to show it to the world.

More recently, I bit the bullet and have taken on a studio in Central London. This reignited my ambition to create, and sell, fine art. I've long had a desire to collaborate with another artistic soul and to that end a long time friend, Emma-Michelle, an artist in her own right has both modelled and created art with me.

With 9 pieces of figurative fine art to grace the walls of London Erotic Art Exhibition in just about a month's time, it feels right to share this with a wider audience.

Together Em and I have been delving deep into our pasts and creating artistic futures.

Photography and traditional art combine to create mixed media pieces. Producing figurative art to scenic imagery and anything else in between, we aren't afraid to be different.

Together we are creating images that will make your walls a conversation starter.

The website is live, and sales of our art, along with certificates of authenticity are already available on request. In a short time we will have a direct sales platform along with a podcast where we will share behind the scenes secrets. Our first quarterly magazine of art and articles is planned for you before the end of the year.
If that wasn't enough we are in conversations with art dealers and gallery owners.

Whilst Em and I will still pursue our individual paths our work through Goose and Gander will be more than just a passion project. In fact the skills brought to the table through this new partnership will enhance the existing work we both do.
