It’s been a whirlwind few days since we launched our film At Home With the Boyle Family last Sunday 13th November at I K L E C T I K .
We want to say a massive thank you to all of you, friends old and new and others we didn’t have the privilege of meeting on the day. Thank you for coming together, for generating an electric atmosphere, engaging and supporting our projection of what we feel is a fertile history that is ripe for further investigation. And in tribute to the amazing talents that came together to realise this fantastic hqppening, here are some pics by the wonderful “force of nature” (to quote one Mike Figgis) the one and only Blanca Regina
My partner in crime Chris de Selincourt and I are eternally grateful for the support and significant contributions of Sebastian Boyle, Sophia Satchell-Baeza , Mariko Kinoko , Jim Edgar Morgan , David Bardo Dyerson and his son Harry, Avsluta , Gaia Pulses , Tom Precz , Chris’s fantastic sister and brother who looked after his highly intelligent daughter India.
A very special thank you to the wonderful Isa and Eduard at Iklectik Art Lab - also forces of nature, whose undefeatable cheerfulness and tireless dedication enable events like ours to happen on an almost nightly basis. An important subtext of our film is of disappearing London and of the viability of supporting artistic practice. The venue where we held this event Iklectik is a very special place fulfilling a vital cultural need. It is currently under threat from property developers with only profit in mind. Please help save Iklectik, it’s neighbouring small creative businesses and the much needed green space Archbishop’s Park by signing the petition
