Presenting my new ceramic tile series, Completed by Nature, at Top Drawer London.

Each piece begins in the studio, shaped and fired by hand, then nature continues the work through bees, roots and living growth. It is a project about letting go of control and allowing natural processes to complete the surface, the structure and the story.

I’m very happy to share this new direction at Top Drawer, together with my wife Edit Juhasz Ceramics.

I begin the work. Nature completes it.

Nothing goes to waste.

Today I made a new 25 kg pottery plaster reclaim slab for the studio.

Once it’s fully dry (around a week), it will become an essential part of the recycling process. Wet clay scraps and throwing slurry can be spread across the plaster, which gently draws out the moisture and brings the clay back to a workable consistency.

Reclaiming clay isn’t just about saving material—it’s about working more sustainably and making the most of every kilogram.

Before the colour comes the silence.

Fresh from the bisque firing, each porcelain piece has been carefully waxed and is now waiting for its glaze.

This new collection is a collaborative gallery project by Mihaly Herczeg and Edit Juhasz . At the moment, every piece shares the same quiet white surface—but soon each will take on its own character through colour and fire.

We can’t wait to share the finished collection.
