Vermont owed me nothing, but I think my hip might disagree ⛷️

A few days of blue skies, great snow, and skiing all over the mountains. The kind of trip that reminds you why you love this sport so much.

Did it confirm my hip injury… yes.
Did it probably finish it off… also yes.

But honestly, it was completely worth it.

One last proper ski trip before surgery, and I could not have asked for a better place to do it.

Now… time to get this hip fixed and come back stronger next season 💪

so hungry i could eat a whole boston summer ☀️🌊
like give me lobster rolls, beach days, sweaty runs, sunset spritzes and that golden hour glow
counting down to salty air, late nights and everything feeling a little bit lighter
east coast summer… i am so ready for you 🫶

Blue skies, loud music, and zero thoughts beyond this moment 💙⛷️

Somewhere between the runs, the sunshine, and dancing in ski boots… this turned into one of those days I wish I could bottle up forever.

Cold air, warm sun, and the kind of laughter that makes your cheeks hurt more than the skiing ever could.

For a long time, my right hip was the problem.

Multiple surgeries, long rehab, learning patience the hard way… but eventually, it got me back to doing what I love 🤍

Somewhere along the way, my left hip started whispering.
Nothing major at first, just small signs that something was not quite right.

I did what I always do, stuck to physio, stayed consistent, listened to my body.

But over time, the whispers got louder.

After scans, appointments, and more conversations than I can count… I got the news I was expecting, but still did not want to hear.

My left hip needs surgery too.

It feels strange knowing I have already been through this once, and now I am about to do it all over again… but on the other side.

There is a lot I could say about fear, frustration, and uncertainty…
but more than anything, I feel ready.

Ready to take this on properly.
Ready to give myself the best chance at a strong, pain free future.

Surgery is coming soon.

For now, I am soaking up the moments, doing what I love, and appreciating everything my body can still do 🤍
