Professor Rie Day created ikebana arrangements with blue and white vases, architectural vases, ’s textured vase and .muchiri’s owl-shaped vase from our Ainu collection. The arrangements contrasted feathery ferns with spiky holly leaves or soft yellow flowers with red berry branches to convey different emotions, and each flower sculpture was tailored to the individual vase.
