Gemz Mas Band

Gemz Mas Band Gemz Mas is an Artsmark Partner community arts club dedicated to enriching the lives of children, teenagers and young adults through Carnival Arts. Our programs are accredited for Arts Awards. We were established in 2015 by our founder and Artistic Director, Giselle Carter. Carnival Arts is a combined arts discipline thus our programs span across music, craft, dance, theatre, poetry/spoken word. We also run programs incorporating film, photography, food growing and cooking.
We provide a safe and exciting environment for learning, exploring and personal development. We welcome participants from diverse backgrounds.

We're getting ready for a spooooky one!
This Autumn, we are thrilled to partner with Southend on Sea City Council for our Arts project. A series of workshops for children & teenagers in foster care will be curated by our Artistic Director, Giselle.
The spooktacular costumes 👻 will be worn at the popular Southend Halloween Parade.
The parade kicks off at 6pm Saturday 26th October at Southend pier, so do come along and enjoy the fun!
