Awkward and Depressed:
An Australian who moved across the world and a Londoner who's never really felt at home in his own city join forces to ask life's big questions. Mostly, though, they just make jokes about feeling weird, lost and occasionally hopeful.

A comedy show for anyone who's ever felt slightly out of place.

📅 20-30th August 22:50
📌Just The Tonic at The Caves, The Rowantree, 253 Cowgate, EH1 1LG

Awkward and Depressed:
Two comedians. One promotional video. Zero attempts at overselling.

Tim travelled all the way from Brisbane to London only to discover that geography may not have been the issue. Mahesh has spent most of his life in London and still feels like an outsider. Together, they attempt to make sense of modern life through comedy, awkwardness and questionable decision-making.

Come to the show. Or don't. You have free will.

Comedy open-mic night once a month, with a clap-off at the end, and prizes to be won.

Awkward and Depressed:
Tim is uncomfortable both on and off-stage. He's 32 and recently made the long journey from Brisbane to London, only to discover that maybe it's him that's the problem. Mahesh is a 39-year-old Londoner. He's lived here most of his life, but always feels like he's on the outside looking in. Together, they are Awkward and Depressed: two lost souls, searching for meaning in this bleak existence and each displaying an uncanny ability to find the humour – as well as the bizarre – in this insane world.
