Cmon tonight’s the night

We can’t wait to catch you all tonight but first some house rules:

Please remember to do a lateral flow before setting off for the venue tonight, although restrictions are soon to be deleted the threat is still very real. Also, whilst the dust appears to have settled on this topic recently, if at any point during the night you begin to feel unsafe please do not hesitate to notify a member of staff - whether it be a member of the CS or Top Thwomps team, bar staff, security or even your fellow disk jockey’s.

In the wake of our collaboration with Top Thwomps we’re gassed to announce our full line-up

SAAH really should need no introduction, after bursting onto the scene in a true energetic fashion he took no time getting noticed by some of the scenes figure heads. With high impact releases on the likes of Kouncil Cuts and Typeless amongst others his chaotic releases reflect his personality during his sets. Between SAAH and Nice1tom this night promises nothing but turbulence, before even mentioning the traumatising shenanigans promised from Maleekaveli, Basement Maxx, Mackie and Ady.

There are a limited number of tickets available at £5/£7/£10 so make sure you cop early to avoid missing out

Yes, yes

To kick off the New Year we’ll be collaborating with Top Thwomps to bring you our first line-up of the year. This one has been extremely last-minute, but we’re gassed to share it with you.

Top Thowmps head boy Basement Maxx will be kicking off the evening with Nice1tom and our headliner (TBA) taking centre stage. Closing out will be Clara Saint resident ady who goes b2b with Maleekaveli.

Catch us at The Waiting Room, Stoke Newington on the 21st January

We thought it was over, you thought it was over – stepping up for the final instalment of A Very Merry Mixmas is the grinch who is about to steal Christmas, Nova Cheq

It goes without saying that this has truly been a huge year for Nova Cheq, with some mammoth releases on Hooversound, District160, Rascals, Trax Haven & Das B***y to name a few their sound has done a full lap of the globe. For those of you who know Nova Cheq you instantly know that that the journey is going to be wild, that is why we set him the task of ruining Christmas. To which he appears to of succeeded.

Boyo boy, it has been an intense month, but we have finally made it. Coming in direct from Leipzig is the huge Bunny Tsukino who closes out A Very Merry Mixmas in true fashion.

After tearing up HÖR, Capsule and Rinse FM earlier this year Bunny Tsukino is one of the most exciting talents we have come across this year. Hitting almost every sweet spot during this addition it is almost impossible to write an introduction that is deserving of this one – so we’ll leave you with this, BIG beats, BIG sounds and HUGE energy. RASIE IT UP!!

Picking up the pace Lucine returns for the next addition of A Very Merry Mixmas

During this hour the Space Dust Transmissions & 1020 Radio resident leaves no stone unturned covering soundscapes such as IDM, Electro; NRG and Breakbeat with hints of Italo influences throughout this one isn’t one to miss. Following her Clara Saint x Women in Music show we knew we had to get her back, and by god are we pleased we did.

After an intense series DJ Moja selects the most suiting mixtape to unwind before the impending sprint finish to Christmas Eve. This one will have you dancing around the kitchen with a brush pretending it is your significant other.

Opening up the final week of A Very Merry Mixmas GAB bosses Van Roy & Saucebag go b2b to prepare a five-course Editerranean cover

Boasting a huge cache of high energy releases, as well as their successful residency at Old Red Bus Station this past year has undoubtably been a huge one for Gimme A Break. Using the traditional, but almost definitely bootleged cliché expect big things to come from these boys next year where they will further cement their place in the scene.
Expect an hour of silly, outrageous and downright rude nostalgia trips which are likely to take you back to a time where the mandem wore Superdry, and you could still buy a 10 deck for a fiver.

Up next, Bloomfield

Taking siege in Oxford where he co-leads Progression Records, Bloomfield utilises his hour to flex his favourite 4x4’s and high velocity breaks, whilst also injecting a profusion of his infamous grooves. Playing far and wide his most notable appearance was at the co-organised Wibbly Woods Festival - which will be returning for it’s second year next summer.
