Ever wondered what I do with my scraps?

I use them to cut out little shapes to sew onto my ornaments. So nothing is wasted.

The pile in my video is 72 pieces of felt, all cut by hand. Now for the fun bit of sewing it all together.

WIP Wednesday.

I’m sewing some seahorses for my Under the Sea garland.

Tip: I always stuff as I go along as it’s easier to do the fiddly bits.

It’s forecast for rain here today but it’s still quite warm. Have a wonderful Wednesday 😊

My sugar skull is coming along nicely.

Luckily it’s cooled down and we had lots of rain today so I feel like sewing again.

Follow along to see the finished ornament. There will be a pattern to follow too.

Make a sugar skull with me.

First I transfer the pieces onto freezer paper, then I iron them onto the felt and cut out.

When all the pieces are cut I am ready to sew 🧵

I’m in the office today for the day job. Thankful it’s cooled down. It’s forecast for rain, hope it’s more than just drizzle. Happy hump day 😊
