It was brilliant to be a part of Wandsworth Artists Open House over the weekend, meeting so many new art lovers alongside welcoming guests to her solo presentation.

Laura will be back in the gallery this Saturday and on 24th October if you'd like to meet her and see some of her painting process. The full catalogue for the show is available on the website if you can't make it in person!

So lovely to have Lucia Hardy in the gallery today for a catch up and painting demo ✨

Lucia's work is always so expressive - she has a wonderful knack for capturing the essence of a scene in decisive gesture and bold colour.

New works from Lucia will be added online too, including the beautiful 'Owl in White' shown here... Come and explore in the gallery or shop online.

"I had a smile on my face the moment I stepped through the door - I just want to drink everything in. So many different styles, such talent! It's pure joy being here."

"This is exquisite - so lovely to be able to see so much all in one place. And I love the way everything has been hung."

"I wish I'd discovered you sooner, I love it here."

"It's such as soothing experience, coming here to explore. Creativity around every corner!"

"This is such a wonderful enterprise! A brilliant idea."

Thank you to everyone who shares the love when they visit the gallery - I have loved being in Putney and I will certainly miss this space! I'll be here right up to Christmas Eve with mountains of original art to discover - and if there's something in particular you're searching for, I love a challenge!

So it's been an eventful week and I'm very thankful for everyone being so patient and kind - I'm out of hospital now, but have to be gentle as I ease back into normal life! Please note the gallery will be closed today, and then open with reduced hours 1-6pm for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Laura Parker will be back in the gallery with me for Saturday & Sunday as part of Wandsworth Artists Open House - normal hours on Saturday, and 11-5pm on Sunday.

If you have a query please do drop me a line at [email protected] and I'll be back to you a.s.a.p.

Work shown here by Kate Enters seemed appropriate 😅 available online & in store...

It's time for my biggest adventure yet...

I am relocating to Leeds early next year, so I will be closing at Putney Exchange after my annual Winter Boutique this December. After a short break, I aim to confirm a new programme for BobCat Gallery from Spring 2027.

I have had a wonderful time being a part of the Putney community, and I have really felt the love from local customers as well as those travelling from further afield for their art fix. I want to say thank you so much to everyone who has supported me over the last two years.

I have exciting plans to begin with a series of pop-up exhibitions across Leeds before I find a more permanent base for the gallery again, so watch this space.

The online shop and my 1-2-1 consultation services will remain available as usual during this transition, and I will continue to offer artwork rental services to existing customers in London alongside launching this service in Leeds.

In the run-up to Christmas at Putney, I have several special events planned, so keep your eyes peeled for more details!

If you have any questions about the rest of the October collection, please do email me via [email protected] - the website will be updated by Tuesday.
