Performing works by , George Lewis and
- Sophie Stone’s Postcard Pieces (2020) are a set of open duration and open instrumentation postcard-sized pieces categorised into ‘text’, ‘staff’, ‘blank’ and ‘recording task’ scores
- George Lewis’ Artificial Life (2007), described by Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra as ‘metamorphic rock’ comprises a set of instructions for different groups of instruments, guiding them through a complex and highly structured, open-ended improvisation
- James M. Creed’s ‘Towmond’ (a word for twelve months) is a season cycle. Theo score exists in three versions: abstract, for guitarist, for ensemble. This will be the first performance for ensemble.
We’ll also be dancing the night away with DJ sets from FLOCO & SFM 🕺🕺🕺
- Producer and DJ inhabits a world between the old and the new. Weaving remnants of her upbringing on folk and experimental classical music through electronics, FLOCO’s DJ sets shine a spotlight on producers interweaving organic and synthesised sounds. She journeys through the more abstract lands of ambient and left-field club exploring both transcendental pads and energising drum programming
- Honing her sound on the northwest circuit, is a DJ currently based in London (UK). Their dark techno sets wade through swampy baselines and elevate through ethereal moments.
