MAY 35th London Premiere Highlights
《5月35日》倫敦首演花絮

A month has passed since the London premiere of "May 35th". The play brought the Tiananmen mothers witness testimony to life, fostering a deeper international understanding.
Over four days, we held six shows, post-show talks, and an exhibition, all dedicated to preserving the memory of June 4th and amplifying the voices of the Tiananmen Mothers and the ongoing human rights defenders in Hong Kong.
We are grateful to all our audience members and partners for their support.
We hope to see you all in the theater again soon. Until we meet again, let us continue to remember and reflect.

“The lighting design …was unafraid to cast bold shadows and spotlights across the stage, it perfectly suited the overall tone of the play and created some haunting images. I’m still thinking about the light thrown on Ah Dai during his monologue where he recounts observing the first few days of the peaceful protest. It was truly beautiful.”
