West Hampstead Arts Club is a beautiful 100 Capacity speakeasy style club devoted to culture music performance & spoken word. Its friendly, non-commercial, and low-key atmosphere with affordable drinks and cutting edge program attracts a host of avant-garde artists and writers. He doesn't need to play arenas. He's got the Boz Allstars behind him. And we're back in someone's front room in 1974, when the world still had ash trays, a girl with feather cut hair and the promise of a second bottle of Mateus rosé.

That's what Sonny George does. He doesn't give you a show. He gives you an evening. Christ, these days, that's a far rarer thing than talent.
