We were so pleased to be part of Dance Digital, the first dance film festival from Digital Stage & Studio. Our short film BUMP, which celebrates the pregnant body while questioning the assumptions that people can make about them, was received really well by the audience and and were part of the post-show discussion. Thanks so much for having us!

Special Jury Mention for Mimbre from festival in Valladolid:
"A company that aims to rethink and reclaim the place of women in contemporary circus. In this edition of TAC, Mimbre has once again provided, as it has throughout its career, a lesson in integration and body normalization that places us in a world we should be aiming for."

Thank you, we are so honoured and touched! It means a lot to us from such a renowned festival with so many excellent companies.
And thank you to all the wonderful audiences who came out to see us, in sun, rain and thunder!! Always a joy to be here, we love you Valladolid!!

We are incredibly grateful to the The National Lottery (and especially the players!) for funding this year’s Mimbre Youth classes. Mimbre Youth uses streetdance and circus classes for 6 to 15-year-olds to bring Hackney communities together across financial and geographical barriers.

“[The classes] make my child, and me!, feel part of a community that spans a few local schools.”

Here’s to another year of supporting Hackney residents to have fun, make friends and build relationships!

Earlier this spring, the cast of Weight(less) headed to Margaret River, Australia, to teach an incredibly talented group of young people a little bit about Mimbre’s artistic methods and innovative devising techniques.
