1m³ | 24 - 28 June in Oxo Gallery ❌

Thirty emerging artists present 1m³, a group exhibition by recently graduated BA Fine Art students from University for the Creative Arts - UCA.

By limiting the scale of the works presented within this exhibition to 1m³ maximum, the restriction placed upon these emerging artists is rendered equal, creating a fair and level playing field from which to present redacted elements of their full graduation work.

This limited size speaks of the struggles of emerging artists, who experience constraints commensurate with their individual level of financial/societal support, privilege, or hardship. It addresses the anxiety and unequal places on the starting line for artists breaking out of the supported education setting into the professional art world, and invites wider discussion about the reduction of governmental support for the arts, in education and wider society.

Buddhist Film Festival Sand Mandala | 17 - 21 June in Oxo Gallery ❌

For the first time, the Buddhist Film Festival introduces a flagship physical activation in London!

Hosted at Oxo Gallery on the South Bank, The Pureland Foundation present a five-day public Sand Mandala installation, created live by senior visiting Tibetan Buddhist monks.

Unfolding in real time within one of the city’s most active cultural spaces, the installation offers a rare encounter with a centuries-old sacred art form. A series of accompanying breath work sessions will further open the space for reflection and engagement, taking place on the 18th and 19th June from 5:30pm (first come first serve).

Ocean guardians: voices from the shore | 10 - 14 June in Oxo Gallery ❌

A new exhibition, brought to you by the international nature conservation charity Fauna & Flora, spotlights those on the front line of ocean protection in Honduras; those who lead in harmony with the sea.

Co-created with coastal communities, this powerful photo series asks the question: what makes a leader? Find out for yourself as you experience the stories of how artisanal fishers, elders and young conservationists are defending their homes, cultures and coastlines against growing threats to the ocean on which they depend.

Caroline Cole Ceramics: Schema | 4 - 7 June in Oxo Gallery ❌

A compelling dialogue between form, material and motif, ceramic artist Caroline Cole brings nature’s hidden patterns to life at Oxo Gallery.

The exhibition features sculptural ceramic vessels decorated with detailed, hand-crafted designs inspired by geometric patterns, cellular structures and primordial influences.

Building on her previous exhibition at Oxo Gallery: Order Through Pattern (2023), Cole’s latest work marks a shift from strict mathematical pattern making into a more fluid exploration of how forms emerge in nature.

Theatre of Fated Dreams | 28 - 31 May in Oxo Gallery ❌

“Theatre of Fated Dreams” is an exhibition that brings together diverse artists whose work explores body politics, cultural hybridity, and the boundaries of identity in a rapidly changing world.

Inspired by Édouard Glissant’s ideas of opacity, the exhibition challenges viewers to reconsider histories, imagine new futures, and engage with urgent issues such as human rights, environmental justice, and social belonging.

By foregrounding underrepresented voices and rethinking dominant narratives, the exhibition creates a platform for dialogue and resistance, inviting audiences to participate in an open, collective reimagining of contemporary art and society.

Human/The Masks We Wear | 23 - 25 May in Oxo Gallery ❌

Ann Beatty and Kim Rasit from H'arts in Mindfirst connected through a mutual understanding of the spaces they inhabit. As CEOs of charities, leadership can often be a solitary place. For both artists, creative practice has become a way not only to reflect on that experience but to sustain and nourish themselves.

Through paintings, glass, ceramics and sculpture they present a powerful, moving and reflective exhibition.

While each artist presents a solo collection, the exhibition represents a meeting of like minds. Together their work invites viewers to reflect on the complexity of humanity and the many layers that shape who we are.
