Boris Lurie: Ever the Radical | 24 September - 11 October in Oxo Gallery ❌

Boris Lurie (1924, Leningrad – 2008, New York) stands out as one of the great unsung radical artists of the twentieth century. His work constitutes a powerful artistic engagement with persecution, violence, and memory in the aftermath of the Holocaust.
Featuring almost 40 works created between 1946 and 2003, EVER THE RADICAL brings together a representative selection spanning nearly six decades of Lurie’s artistic career.

He juxtaposed images of N**i atrocities with motifs drawn from consumer culture and the entertainment industry, especially pin-up photography. These confrontations were intended to provoke discomfort and raise questions about memory, voyeurism, and collective denial.

Come Together! to uncover hidden British history. This year, educational non-profit, VOICE ESEA’s third ECHO (ESEA Collective: History, Over here) exhibition takes over Oxo Gallery from 3–6 September 2026. Explore ‘home’ - from a British Filipino perspective.

Salo-salo translates loosely as “feast, banquet, party”. More than just communal dining, the phrase represents a philosophy of shared abundance, which has sustained Filipino communities through migration and adaptation.

Our free immersive exhibition brings these stories into view: through food, photography, panel discussions, family-friendly creative workshops, and a film screening, join us in exploring perspectives on migration, identity, belonging and home.

After almost 30 years at Oxo Tower Wharf, Archipelago Textiles will be closing its doors on the 31st August as owner and designer-maker Doreen Gittens retires.

For nearly three decades, the shop has brought beautifully crafted textiles, handmade products and unique gifts to the South Bank, becoming a much-loved part of Oxo’s creative community. We thank Doreen for her passion, dedication and contribution over the years, and wish her a long, happy and well-deserved retirement.

Did you know the Oxo Tower has been an iconic London landmark since the 1930s? ✨

What began as an ingenious piece of advertising became one of London's most recognisable landmarks, with the famous OXO lettering cleverly built into the tower's windows and proudly overlooking the Thames.

When the building became derelict by the 1970s, its future looked uncertain. But rather than being lost to history, it was boldly reimagined and brought back to life through a major redevelopment by Coin Street that restored its place on the South Bank.

Today, Oxo Tower Wharf is a thriving home for independent designer-makers, artists, retailers, and restaurants, proving how great spaces can evolve while celebrating their heritage. Waves of Emotion | 15 - 26 July in Oxo Gallery ❌

'Waves of Emotion' is a major solo exhibition by acclaimed London-based artist Michele Franklin Art. Bringing together painting, drawing, sculpture, music, and personal storytelling, the exhibition is an immersive exploration of female identity and the emotional landscapes of womanhood.

Inspired by the shifting rhythms of water and the ebb and flow of emotional states, Franklin’s new body of work reflects the turbulence, resilience, and quiet strength of lived experience. The exhibition explores complex emotional roles - from mother and partner to muse - navigating themes of inclusion, rejection, love, and loss.

More than a traditional exhibition, 'Waves of Emotion' is conceived as a multi-sensory experience.
