REST and recharge. These past few weeks have been busy and I have outstretched myself a bit. I’ve always been a keen learner, so when my brain and arms didn’t want to work with each other it was a telling that I needed a pause. Yet most often than not I persevere and end up feeling burnt out. I blamed the lack of sunlight. Vitamin D deficiency. But the truth is I just have to remember to be kind to myself.
I’ve been slowing down now, reorganising my paintings at home and making relaxing doodles. Hope you take care of yourself too and take it easy 🧡

This piece gave me a sense of serenity. In my fast-paced work, I tend to forget to pause and enjoy the present. Life is short, and it’s the small moments of everyday that eventually make up most of our lives. I’m grateful of where I am now and for the people I’ve met, though I don’t say that out loud enough.
