Another week has gone by. Sheesh. Where does time go? But hey, it means it’s music session time again! Adrian Garratt here, resident Healthcare Musician at Harefield Hospital. At 7pm tonight I’ll be broadcasting LIVE via the medium of Facebook live, from this very page. A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for In Rhythm: A Celebration of Music in Hospitals a couple of weeks ago. 💙

It was a truly beautiful evening, bringing people together through the power of music, inspiring speeches, and moving poetry. The atmosphere in the room was something special, and we are so grateful to everyone who came along to support the event and help celebrate the impact that music can have in healthcare settings.

Thank you to our performers, speakers, poets, supporters, volunteers, and every guest who helped make the evening such a success. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and belief in our work mean so much.

We’re still reflecting on the memories made and the conversations shared, and we’re excited to continue championing the role of music in hospitals and healthcare.

This week we held a “Crafternoon” with the Trust’s Sustainability Team to introduce our new Senior Nature Recovery Ranger, Emma Meyers, from the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare on a national, Lottery-funded project.

Together, we created botanical prints on tiles using plants, vegetables, and roots, which will help inspire and inform a larger piece of work that will be revealed later. It was a fantastic opportunity to get creative, connect with nature, and celebrate the beginning of an exciting new project!
