20 October - 6 November
Thompson's Gallery London

We are delighted to present an exciting duo exhibition of new paintings by Jane Price and James Tweedie RGI.

Working in distinct but complementary ways, both artists explore the shifting character of the landscape through light, colour, and composition. Price's work is driven by atmosphere and intuitive response to nature, while Tweedie's paintings often balance observation with structure, capturing familiar scenes with a subtly imaginative edge.

As part of our London gallery’s Autumn Catalogue exhibition, we’re delighted to introduce the work of artist Marissa Weatherhead.

Marissa’s paintings skilfully combine delicate forms with bold outlines, creating works that are both gentle and striking. Through stylised patterns, form and shape, she brings a distinctive sense of rhythm and structure to her compositions.

A graduate of the Royal College of Art in London, where she received an MA in Fine Art, Marissa has been awarded scholarships for her practice and participated in five Artist-in-Residence programmes across Spain, Italy and Morocco.

Her work is held in public and private collections across Europe, including the Guildhall School at the Barbican, London.

Marissa is also the daughter of longstanding gallery artist, Ian Weatherhead.

As part of our London gallery’s Autumn Catalogue exhibition, we’re delighted to introduce the work of French artist Nadège Marneffe.

Trained in Fine Arts and Architecture, Nadège’s painting practice is centred on colour, composition and the natural world. Her many journeys across the UK have inspired a deep connection with British nature, gardens and culture, with Kew Gardens playing a particularly important role in her work.

Working from photographs, drawings and memories made at Kew, she creates vibrant paintings exploring the relationship between architecture and nature.

Having exhibited in Richmond in 2025, Nadège is delighted to continue her connection with England through this exhibition at Thompson’s Gallery.

As part of our London gallery’s Autumn Catalogue exhibition, we’re delighted to introduce the work of American artist, Jonathan Keeton.

Having studied painting and theatre, Keeton spent 30 years as a pioneer in digital visual effects for film, television and commercials before returning to his first love: painting. Now based in Portugal, he creates atmospheric landscapes and nocturnes exploring the beauty, mystery and complexity of the natural world.

Working from extensive photographic studies, his highly detailed watercolours and acrylics can take weeks or even months to complete.

8 - 18 September
Thompson's Gallery London

This feature exhibition brings together a focused selection of works by Norman Smith PS, a painter celebrated for his atmospheric landscapes and expressive use of colour.

Working primarily in pastel and oil, Norman captures the shifting moods of the natural world. From coastal light and open skies to quiet, fleeting moments in the countryside. His distinctive handling of colour and texture creates works that are both richly atmospheric and deeply observed.
